Terms and Conditions

By signing up for services (“Service”) with Activate Your Life, LLC (DBA Activate Your Life, LLC) (hereby referred to as “Activate Your Life”) you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms, conditions and policies (“Terms of Service”).

Activate Your Life reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to the Activate Your Life website. You are advised to check the Terms of Service from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you.

01. Activate Your Life Rights

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Service for any reason, without notice at any time.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Verbal or written abuse of any kind (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Activate Your Life participant, client, or customer, Activate Your Life representative, member, agent, or officer will result in immediate termination of services.

02. Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that Activate Your Life shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from participation in any workshops, and the use of or inability to use any or all of the services offered.
In no event shall Activate Your Life or our suppliers, or partners be liable for lost profits or any special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our site, our services or this agreement (however arising including negligence). You agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our parent, subsidiaries, Activate Your Life partners, officers, directors, agents, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory.
Activate Your Life does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Activate Your Life does not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.
Activate Your Life does not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
In no event will Service Provider's aggregate liability for all claims of any kind, including any claims arising out of or related to this agreement, whether by statute, contract, tort, or under any other theory of liability, exceed the fees paid by you for the Activate Your Life Service hereunder during the one (1) month period immediately preceding the date on which the cause of action arose.

03. Waiver and Complete Agreement

The failure of Activate Your Life to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and Activate Your Life and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Activate Your Life (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).

04. Copyright Notice

The written materials and processes taught in the Activate Your Life private and group coaching workshop programs are intended for clients to use for personal purposes.

Activate Your Life grants clients of our programs this right, while working with one-on-one coaches, group coaching workshops, and virtual Webinars. However, no part of the materials available through the site may be copied, photocopied, reproduced, translated or reduced to any electronic medium or machine-readable form, in whole or in part, and then sold through a book, e-book, or online course, without prior written consent of Activate Your Life.

Any other reproduction in any form without the permission of Activate Your Life is prohibited.

All materials contained on this site are protected by United States copyright law and may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published or broadcast without the prior written permission of Activate Your Life.

05. Disability Policies and Equal Treatment

Activate Your Life is committed to ensuring students with disabilities can take our programs in an environment that values diversity, inclusion and participation.

06. Refund Policy

At Activate Your Life, we want to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. If you have concerns or questions, please feel free to connect with us at [email protected].

If you have attempted to resolve your issue with our support team and you decide that your purchase does not meet your requirements, we ask that you email the address above with your request for a refund.
Please note our refund policy is as follows:
1. If you request a refund for one of our workshops prior to 7 days before the date of the workshop you have signed up to attend, then you will receive a refund of the workshop fee less a 10% processing fee.
2. If you request a refund within 7 days to 48 hours prior to the start of the workshop date and time you have signed up to attend, then you shall receive a refund that reflects 50% of the workshop fee. Please note that although we make every effort to refund your purchase quickly, our payment processor (Stripe) or your financial institution may have limitations that could make it take up to 20 days for the refund to reflect in your bank account/card.

3. If you request a refund within the 48 hour window prior to the date and start time of the workshop you have signed up to attend, then you shall not receive a refund. Since we have limited seating, it is unlikely we will be able to fill that seat in such a short period of time. 4. No refunds are given for attendees who do not show up for the workshops, or who decide to leave early.

Follow the steps below to get your refund request sent to us:
Go to the Contact Us page or email [email protected].
Submit a message with your name, email address, and order number or specific program purchased so we can issue a refund as quickly as possible.
Once you submit the support request you will receive an auto-response from us, which lets you know we received your request.
Once we've had a chance to review your request, we will be in touch within 48 hours confirming the refund has been processed.

07. Life Coaching Disclaimer

Activate Your Life does not endorse, is not responsible for, and cannot be held liable for the actions of any client who enrolls in programs and services offered by Activate Your Life. Clients must be aware of and strictly adhere to these Terms of Service. The role of a life coach, in its most simple form, is to encourage, coach and/or act as a facilitator of a client's self-reflection, decision-making, planning for the future, and creating life changes. While clear boundaries exist between coaching and therapy, due to the legal obligations and requirements for practicing therapy, there are some similarities. Certain psychological principles and theoretical frameworks are used in both therapy and coaching to facilitate positive life change, but life coaching and life coaching workshops are not a therapeutic modality.

Further, the Client is responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions, and results. As such, the Client agrees that Activate Your Life is not and will not be liable for any actions or inactions, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by Activate Your Life.

Client understands that the Activate Your Life workshops and coaching are not therapy nor a substitute for therapy if needed, and do not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.

Client understands that the Activate Your Life workshops and coaching are not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical, or other qualified professionals and agrees to seek independent professional guidance for such matters if needed.
Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, create the time and energy to participate fully in the Activate Your Life workshops and/or the 1-on-1 coaching, and to complete the Activate Your Life workshop pre-work assignments and action items as determined by Activate Your Life workshops coaches.

Client further agrees to complete any and all Action Items determined and agreed upon at the end of each 1-on-1 coaching session.
